Just watched her in the shamefully underrated Morituri (1965) with Brando & Brynner, and figured she deserved a thread.
Janet Margolin (July 25, 1943 – December 17, 1993) was an American theater, television and film actress.
In 1962, she played her first and best movie role as the female lead in the film David and Lisa. She played the love interest of the lead character in the movie Enter Laughing (1967).
In Annie Hall (1977) she played the social-climbing wife of the Woody Allen character. In 1978's Last Embrace, a Hitchcockian thriller directed by Jonathan Demme, she had probably her best role since David and Lisa. Her last movie role was in Ghostbusters II in 1989.
From People Magazine (1979):
Indeed, she's now secure enough to admit that the nude bathtub scene in Last Embrace is her favorite because "No one has ever let me play a real sexy person before."
